John Deere commemorative lunch boxes

July 24th, 2008

John Deere. A man who, in 1837, opened a blacksmith shop, forging the beginnings of Deere and Company. They are now celebrating their 200th anniversary. That is something to commemorate.

Let us help you to do so. We are offering a John Deere lunch box in two styles. The best part is, our lunch box doesn’t come empty!

While we are celebrating the success of John Deere, we would also like to celebrate the success of ….candy and retro-style lunch boxes!.

Candy from the 50’s, 60’s and 70’s. Okay, the 1900’s – not the 1800’s! But what a great way to combine the best of both centuries!

You will receive candy that:
1. Will not melt
2. Will delight several generations…those that have all ready lived it, and those that will experience it for the first time.
3. Will walk you through memory lane. Why not grab a best friend, sibling, or someone
with whom you grew up?

John Deere, retro-candy in a great looking commemorative lunch box. A great combination to celebrate the history of our nation.

Lunch boxes featuring Tinkerbell

July 24th, 2008

What is a Tinker? In auld England, it was a person that “tinkered” with silver usually making pots and pans. What does that have to do with our retro-style lunch boxes?

Lunch boxes, T-shirts, baseball caps and window stickers.

Tink. Fairies and fairie dust. Introduced by J.M. Barrie, Tinkerbell is one of the worlds most beloved characters. She is sassy and loving, moody and helpful (when it suits her). She is now found on our retro-style lunch boxes.

Not only does she make a great looking picture for the lunch box, but it’s contents are as magical as her fairy dust. Fly along with me down nostalgia lane with memories conjured by auld-time candy favorites such as Tea-berry gum, Root-Beer barrels, Zagnuts and much, much more.

You won’t regret inviting Tink into your home, nor the wonderful contents she protects on the journey there.

And yes, she truly was named after the Tinks of auld England.

Coca-cola and our lunch boxes, what a great combo!

July 24th, 2008

Sold as a soft drink starting in 1886 in Georgia, only 9 were sold a day for the first month. It is now found in 200 countries. It was patented as a medicine since it was thought that carbonated water was good for any ailment. It is now found on our retro-style lunch boxes.

What is it? You can find our lunch box adorned with the classic look of coca-cola! What a great addition to a store shelf, an antique item to be placed for all to see.

It doesn’t stop there. This lunch box is filled with retro-candy that will delight all of us classic coke and candy lovers. Wax Lips, Wax Bottles filled with juice, and over 20 types of your favorite 1950-1970 classic candies.

Our lunch boxes are varied with different designs and different shapes. They all hold the same excitement, the same memories we had as children. Wasn’t it great to start school with a new lunch box? Showing off the fad of that year, or our favorite drink. In this case, coke.

It’s the real thing.

Check out our lunch-boxes!

July 24th, 2008

“The Big Blue Boy Scout”. “The Man of Tomorrow”. “The Man of Steel”. Figured out who I am talking about? Superman. An American Icon. Not just that, but THE American Icon. Lunch boxes, comic books, television, movies, books. Superman halloween costumes. The most recognized super-hero in the world.

He came to us originally in 1938, and now, Superman comes directly to you, unveiled in a decorative lunch box. Oh, yes, you have seen them….probably even owned one as a kid. And that is our point…a retro-lunch box! And, as the commercial claims, “But wait…there’s more!”. Yes, our retro-style lunch box is filled with, what else, but over 20 pieces of retro-candy.

It’s quite fitting…Superman from the 50’s, candy from the 50’s! It is filled with that and candy from the 60’s and 70’s as well. Why leave those out? He was popular then, too. Just as he has been reprised recently in the theater, we are reprising him on a retro-lunch box…just for your enjoyment.
